About our practice
New Beginnings Psychiatry is a physician-led telehealth psychiatry practice. Our goal is simple: to provide thoughtful, evidence-based mental health care that is accessible, consistent, and grounded in good clinical medicine.
The practice is led by Dr. Christopher Galbick, DO, a board-certified psychiatrist. Dr. Galbick personally completes each new psychiatric evaluation, taking the time to understand your history, symptoms, goals, and treatment preferences before developing an individualized treatment plan.
As care continues, patients may work with other members of our psychiatric team, including psychiatric physician assistants, for ongoing follow-up care. Our team works collaboratively, with Dr. Galbick providing physician leadership and clinical support to help ensure continuity and high-quality care throughout treatment.
We focus on evidence-based treatment for conditions such as depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, obsessive-compulsive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, schizophrenia, psychosis, and many other mental health conditions. Care may include medication management and supportive talk therapy. Our approach is practical and collaborative. We take the time to understand each patient’s history, goals, and preferences before making recommendations.
As a fully telehealth practice, we are able to serve patients without the barriers of travel or long wait times. Most appointments are conducted by secure video, allowing patients to receive care from home while maintaining privacy and convenience.
At New Beginnings Psychiatry, we believe good psychiatric care should be accessible, personalized, and grounded in sound medical judgment.
